Previously known as the All Auto Africa, Scania will present a range of vehicles at this year’s Johannesburg International Motor Show. This year’s show runs from the 6th of October to the 16th of October and promises to be one of the best yet. Scania SA will launch their brand new R620 Euro 4 vehicle at this year’s show. The Scania team also has a very special vehicle at the centre of the stage throughout the show. The Scania R999 (1000 horsepower) convertible vehicle will definitely steal everyone’s attention at this year show. The vehicle is a once off project by the well-known Svempas customizing team from Sweden. This vehicle has travelled the world and will be showed for the very first time on African shores. This show will be the R999’s swansong, as it will be up for auction as soon as it arrives back in Sweden mid-November. The Scania stand can be located at the entrances of hall 7 and 8. Scania clients will have access to the VIP lounge where behind the scenes discussions will take place on what Scania SA intend doing within the next twelve months and beyond. With Scania SA being one of the greenest companies around, the launch of our first Euro 4 emission vehicles promises to be one step closer to get the transport industry buying into the idea that if we don’t look after our planet no one else will.
