Situated in Northern Natal in the far reaches of the Zulu Kingdom, Vryheid, Nondweni Bus Service recently took delivery of 5 brand new Scania F95 buses to supplement their growing fleet.

With their current fleet standing at 50 buses, it was time to invest some new Scania buses into their already impressive fleet. They have a commitment to introducing new buses into their array, through a staged fleet replacement program which ensures that they always maintain the highest levels of passenger safety, comfort and transport reliability, this being the companies motto and ethos, hence the choice of Scania buses.

Nondweni Bus Service has a long and proud history of providing safe, reliable passenger and scholar transport in their operating routes between Vryheid and Paulpietersburg. They have become a stawart in the local community since founding their company in 1996.

Scania is looking forward to forming a long term relationship with Nondweni Bus Service.

Supporting Nondweni Bus Service in their growing commitment to their local community, Scania Southern Africa (Pty) Ltd, Richards Bay Dealer are geared to provide breakdown assistance and on-site servicing for small and medium services to them through the presence of our Field Service Technician based in Newcastle, Morne van Staden, who has since September 2008 been providing the same service to other local clients; in addition to his commitment to providing breakdown assistance to all Scania clients passing through the Northern Natal and lower Mpumalanga areas on their route to the KwaZulu- Natal coast.

In addition to the 24 hour breakdown assistance provided by our Newcastle Field Service technician, Scania Southern Africa (Pty) Ltd, Richards Bay Dealer is also placing another Field Service Technician, Charles van Greunen, in Piet Retief, approximately 220 kilometers from Newcastle. This is planned to take place from late April, and our technician is eager to begin his duties in an area which will run south to Pongola, Mkuze /  Hluhluwe, over the border to Swaziland, and further North to Ermelo, as well as assisting with additional breakdowns in the Newcastle, Vryheid and Paulpietersburg areas if so required.

The addition of this Field Service technician, with his mobile service and repair van in Piet Retief will ensure that Scania Southern Africa (Pty) Ltd, Richards Bay Dealer shall now be even more able then before to provide all Scania clients with confidence that should their investment breakdown, that Scania shall be always close at hand to assist quickly in getting their vehicle back on the road as soon as possible; as well as being now more prepared in providing local clients within the Nothern Natal area with on-site servicing for small and medium services if so required.
